From our humble, experimental beginnings, UT Permian Basin has grown in nearly every direction. As we approach the University's 50th Anniversary, our vision and mission have grown from serving a diverse community of students from the region and state, to embracing our place on the world stage, welcoming students from across the globe and seeing our graduates working and leading in international endeavors. Through excellence in student-centered teaching, learning, research, and public service, the University cultivates engaged citizens and impacts lives while advancing technology and the public interests of West Texas.
